The two primary aims of the Market are:

(1) To promote the consumption of food grown in and around cites and

(2) To facilitate personal connection between growers and buyers.

Food would be grown by backyard gardeners, community gardens and organic farmers close to cities. Members can make "seller" or "buyer" postings. The Market can be searched using a number of criteria.
