Edible school gardens are growing in our communities around the world.The Cityfood Growers web site is ideally designed for students and teachers in project and teaching work on school vegetable gardens, school orchards and school herb gardens, using organic and Biodynamic gardening methods.


The web site content can be used by upper primary, high school and tertiary students in Agriculture and horticulture courses. The content is easily searchable and promotes a scientific and objective approach to plant selection and plant management on over 130 of the most commonly grown vegetables, herbs, grains and green manure crops.

The planting calendar, enables schools in Australia, USA and New Zealand to customise the planting calendar in the web site to the climate at the school and in the student food gardens.
